Candlelighters, Childhood Cancer Fondation of Southern AZ, will be hosting their 6th Annual Dream Night Prom for teens who are battling cancer.The prom is a magical, healing experience for the teens that participate. It is a moment of normalcy from all the physical changes caused by treatment related to their cancer. It gives the teens a chance to experience some of the common social activities they often miss out on due to their illness, such as the Prom.
Help make their Prom night a dream come true - they are currently seeking donations of dresses for the girls, and/or cash to make the night spectacular. If you'd like to give to the cause, please leave donations in the Shrine office Monday or Friday 9:30am-12noon, or at the parish office in care of the Michelle. I will be mailing out the dresses no later then February 21, 2011.
